What is EcoWash? Here's when and how to use it:

EcoWash is a versatile product that offers rinse-free and waterless washing and acts as a drying agent in one! Enriched with SiO2, it delivers exceptional smoothness, improves shine and is completely safe for your vehicle.

EcoWash is ideal during car shows, for quick touch-ups, in areas with water restrictions or on holiday.

In this article, we discuss when and how to use EcoWash properly.

1

Rinseless wash

EcoWash in your bucket.

2

Waterless wash

EcoWash in your sprayer.

3

Drying aid

Straight into your towel, for safe and easy drying.

01 | Rinseless Wash

When you have a limited water supply, you can't fully wet your car or as a way to wash during water restrictions!

Preparation

Make the dilution by adding EcoWash to a bucket of water. Use ratio 1:256 for lightly soiled vehicles and 1:150 for moderately soiled vehicles.

Optional: fill a spray bottle with the diluted solution straight from the bucket. Spray the entire vehicle and leave it to act on the surface for 1-3 minutes to loosen dirt effectively.

Wash

Dip your washing glove or microfibre cloth into the bucket. Squeeze out excess solution until the glove/cloth only drips lightly.

Work in straight lines, apply minimal pressure and wash one panel at a time.

Rinse the wash mitt regularly in a clean bucket of water or use several clean cloths to avoid scratches.

Drying

After washing, dry each panel immediately with a soft drying cloth such as the SilkDryer EVO.

For best results, use EcoWash as a drying aid and quick detailer to aid drying and add an extra layer of gloss.

02 | Waterless Wash

Before or during car shows, on stored cars, or for all quick touch-up moments.

Preparation

In a 1000ml spray bottle, mix 100ml EcoWash with 900ml water to a powerful 1:10 solution.

Be prepared, and make your solution in advance.

Spray and soak

Generously spray the EcoWash solution directly onto a soft microfibre cloth, e.g. a SoftWipe EVO.

Spray the solution on the surface of the car. Let the solution take effect for 1-3 minutes. Do this panel by panel.

Finish

Wipe away the dirt with the sprinkled microfibre towel, working in straight lines and applying minimal pressure. Use a clean part of the towel for each movement.

Use a dry microfibre cloth to remove the residual solution and polish the surface until it shines.

Pro-tip for the road: keep a small bottle of this solution in your car for quick touch-ups, for example to remove bird droppings.

03 | Drying aid / Quick Detailer

The must-have for safe, scratch-free drying, paint protection and shiny results!

Preparation

Make a 1:20 solution. E.g. mix 25ml EcoWash with 475ml water in a small spray bottle.

Application

Spray +- 5 sprays of the EcoWash solution on your SilkDryer or other microfibre towel.

On top of that, you definitely get to liberally spray the car itself.

Drying

Use the towel for 2 to 3 panels.

Thanks to EcoWash's good lubrication, you will notice how effortlessly it glides over the surface. The product leaves a light haze that quickly evaporates, after which your car will feel smooth and have a shiny finish.

* Pro tip: When using EcoWash as a drying aid, dilute with distilled water instead of tap water.

Now it's your turn to try!

EcoWash is an incredibly convenient product. Use it for quick touch-ups, before a car show, on dusty vehicles or in areas with limited access to water. EcoWash makes your car clean, shiny and smooth.
