What is so special about the CAS Charger SC36?
Have you invested in the powerful Scangrip Connect system or other lights that work on the Cordless Alliance System (CAS)? The Scangrip CAS Charger SC36 is the essential, universal fast charger that ensures your batteries are always ready for the next job. This charger is part of the cross-brand battery platform where more than 30 major brands (including Metabo, Rothhenberger, and Mafell) share the same battery technology.
The SC36 is a compact yet highly intelligent charger. Thanks to the patented "AIR COOLED" charging technology, the battery is cooled during charging, significantly reducing charging time and extending the lifespan of your precious batteries. The charger is processor-controlled and monitors each battery cell individually for an optimal and safe charging process. Whether you have a compact 2.0 Ah battery or a heavy 10.0 Ah battery, the SC36 recognizes the type and automatically adjusts the charging current.

How do you use the CAS Charger SC36?
Plug the Scangrip CAS Charger SC36 into a standard 230V outlet. The indicator light on the charger will briefly illuminate to indicate that it is ready for use. Slide the CAS battery (12V to 18V) onto the charger until it clicks fully into place.
The charging process starts automatically. You can easily read the status using the LED indicators:
- Flashing green: The battery is charging.
- Constant green: The battery is fully charged and can be removed from the charger.
- Red indicator light: There is a malfunction or the battery is too hot/cold to charge safely. In the event of an overheated battery, the "AIR COOLED" fan will audibly operate until the correct temperature is reached.
After charging, remove the battery from the charger by pressing the release button on the battery and sliding it off. The charger is then immediately ready for the next battery.
