What is so special about the Sandblasting Set?
The AVA Sandblasting Set is the powerhouse in the range for heavy-duty work. Where water pressure alone is insufficient, this set adds an abrasive element to tackle stubborn layers. It is the solution for removing rust from metal, stripping old paint layers, or cleaning heavily soiled stone walls.
Instead of an expensive and bulky sandblasting machine, this kit transforms your own pressure washer into a wet sandblasting system. Using negative pressure (the Venturi effect), the special nozzle sucks sand from a bag or bucket, mixes it with the powerful water jet, and shoots it against the surface at high speed. The result is thorough cleaning right down to the pores, where the water immediately binds the dust, meaning you experience much less airborne dirt than with traditional dry sandblasting.

How do you use the sandblasting set?
Attach the sandblasting nozzle to your AVA lance and insert the supplied suction hose into a bag of dry blasting sand (such as quartz sand or another suitable blasting medium). Ensure that the sand is bone dry; damp sand will immediately block the feed.
Hold the nozzle at a distance of approximately 10 to 20 centimeters from the object and operate the trigger. Work with smooth movements and always wear appropriate protective equipment, such as safety glasses and gloves, as particles can bounce back with high force. Immediately after the job, rinse the treated surface (especially metal) thoroughly to remove all remaining sand and dirt. Clean the nozzle and the suction hose thoroughly after use to prevent blockages during the next job.
