What is so special about the Gutter and Pipe Kit?
The AVA Gutter & Pipe Kit is one of those typical sets you only really appreciate once the downspout is clogged or the gutter overflows. Instead of balancing on a wobbly ladder with a small shovel, you use the power of your high-pressure cleaner to blast the dirt away from the inside. The set is a combination of two highly specialized tools that make the most frustrating household chores a lot less tedious.
The sewer hose is extremely flexible and features a nozzle with rear-facing jets. This allows the hose to pull itself into the pipe, as it were, while it simultaneously breaks up and flushes away blockages of grease, soap residue, or mud. The gutter cleaner, on the other hand, is a curved lance that you hook over the edge of the gutter. With the side-facing nozzles, you effectively spray leaves and moss toward the drain, all while you stay safely with both feet on the ground.

How do you use the Gutter and Pipe Kit?
For the pipe cleaner: Connect the hose to your AVA gun and insert the nozzle a short distance into the drain before pulling the trigger. Move the hose back and forth with short tugs to break up stubborn blockages. Warning: never pull the hose out of the pipe while the machine is still spraying, to prevent splashing everything (including yourself) with dirty water.
For the gutter cleaner: Attach the curved lance to your (telescopic) lance or gun. Hold the lance firmly, as the lateral pressure can cause unexpected movement when you pull the trigger. Work systematically from one side to the other, moving toward the downspout. After use, flush the hoses and nozzles thoroughly with clean water to prevent small sand grains from clogging the fine holes of the pipe nozzle.
