What's so special about the 1100 Heavy-Cut Compound?
Menzerna 1100 Heavy Cut Compound is a specific polishing paste for removing sanding marks and deep scratches in combination with a lambswool polishing pad. Due to its specific composition, the fibers of the wool pad are less likely to clump together, allowing for longer polishing sessions while maintaining a consistent level of correction.
Furthermore, there is a significantly reduced amount of dust production compared to standard polishing pastes used on a lambswool pad.

How do you use the 1100 Heavy-Cut Compound?
For maximum effectiveness, it is recommended to use this compound with a Lambswool Pad on a rotary polisher, or a Heavy Cut Foam Pad on a DA machine.
- Preparation: Apply 3 to 4 pea-sized drops to the pad. When using a wool pad for the first time, it is advisable to prime it with a slightly more generous amount of product.
- Distribution: Spread the compound over a 40x40 cm work area at the lowest speed setting.
- Correction: Increase the speed and work with moderate pressure. Keep the machine in constant motion. The 1100 has a long working time; continue polishing until the abrasive grains have broken down and an oily film forms.
- Removal: Wipe off the residue immediately with a clean microfiber cloth.
Because the 1100 is focused on maximum correction, a light haze will remain on dark paintwork. Always follow this step with a medium polish (e.g., 2500) and/or a finish polish (e.g., 3500) to reveal the full depth and gloss of the paint.
