AVA PUMP ACTION NOZZLE (P30-P60)
What is so special about the Pump Action Nozzle (P30-P60)?
The AVA of Norway Pump Action Nozzle is the ultimate upgrade for those who want to switch quickly while cleaning. Where you normally have to change nozzles to go from a stubborn, targeted jet to a gentle rinse, this unique spray head does it all in one smooth motion.
By sliding the special sleeve forward or backward (the 'pump action'), you adjust the spray angle steplessly. This makes the nozzle perfect for a wide range of jobs: use the narrow setting to loosen stubborn dirt on rims or garden tools, and switch directly to the wide setting to safely rinse large surfaces such as car paint or wooden fences. This specific variant is precisely calibrated for machines with a working pressure and water flow rate corresponding to the AVA P30, P40, P50, and P60 models. This ensures you always have an optimal spray pattern without pressure loss or pump overload.
MANUAL
How do you use the Pump Action Nozzle (P30-P60)?
1. Safety first: Switch off the machine.
Ensure that the pressure washer is switched off and the system pressure has been released by briefly squeezing the spray gun. This prevents unexpected high-pressure water from being released when changing.
2. Mounting the nozzle: Use the bayonet system.
Align the bayonet connection of the Pump Action Nozzle with the opening of your AVA spray gun or zoom lance. Push the nozzle firmly in and turn it a quarter turn clockwise until it audibly clicks into place.
3. Understanding the pump operation: Stepless adjustment.
Familiarize yourself with the mechanism before starting the machine. Slide the outer sleeve forward or backward. You will see the internal blades open or close, which determines the width of the water jet.
4. Putting into use: Keep a sufficient distance.
Turn on the pressure washer and the water supply. Aim the lance at a safe patch of ground or a hard surface and squeeze the handle. Always start with a wider spray (nozzle pushed back) to test the impact on the surface, and slide the nozzle forward if you need more power.
5. Disposal after use: Disconnect when under pressure.
Are you finished? Turn off the machine, disconnect the water supply, and squeeze the gun again to release the residual pressure. Press the nozzle in slightly, turn it counterclockwise, and safely remove it from the lance.
