How do you use the Flachspatel Doppelwerkzeug?
Pick up a small amount of liquid leather with the tip of the spatula and apply it into the damaged area. Use the flat side to press the paste evenly into the crack, then pull the material flush with the surrounding leather in one smooth motion. The tool is also ideal for applying glue under loose flaps of leather in the case of a tear.
Important: Clean the spatula immediately after use with a cloth and, if necessary, some cleaning spirit or GLD. Once the liquid leather has hardened on the steel, it is difficult to remove and can make the surface of the spatula rough, which will negatively affect precision during future repairs.
