Thanks to the smooth metal, you can pull fillers extremely taut, meaning you need to sand significantly less after drying and achieve a much smoother finish.

How do you use the Flachspatel Doppelwerkzeug?
Pick up a small amount of liquid leather with the tip of the spatula and apply it to the damage. Use the flat side to press the paste evenly into the tear, and then smooth the material flush with the surrounding leather. The tool is also ideal for applying glue under loose leather flaps around a tear.
Important: Clean the spatula immediately after use with a cloth and, if necessary, some cleaning fluid or GLD. Once the liquid leather has hardened on the steel, it is difficult to remove and the surface of the spatula may become rough, which negatively affects precision during a subsequent repair.
