What is so special about the Rust Removal Pen?
The HPX Rust Removal Pen is a precision instrument designed to remove incipient rust and corrosion in a controlled manner. The pen features a core of bundled fiberglass bristles. Twisting the tip releases the fiberglass tip, which is hard enough to scrub away rust, oxidation, and stubborn dirt, yet fine enough to work very locally. This makes it the ideal tool for treating stone chips or small scratches that have started to "bleed" (rust) before touching them up with a touch-up pen.

How do you use the Rust Removal Pen?
Twist the cap of the pen until the fiberglass tip protrudes a few millimeters. Use short, circular motions to gently sand away the rust spot until you see shiny, bare metal again. Do not apply too much pressure; let the abrasive action of the fiberglass do the work. As soon as the rust is completely removed, clean the area of dust. The surface is now immediately ready for a primer or touch-up paint.
Please note: the small glass fiber particles released can irritate the skin or eyes; therefore, do not simply blow the dust away, but wipe it off with a sticky cloth or a damp cloth.
