What is so special about the BP-M D75 M14 Backing Plate?
The FLEX BP-M D75 M14 is a professional, compact 75mm (3-inch) backing plate with a standard M14 thread. This backing plate has been specifically developed to turn a large rotary polisher (such as the FLEX PE 14-2 150) into a precision instrument. It is the perfect solution when you want to utilize the power and control of a rotary machine on small surfaces, such as bumpers, mirror caps, or A-pillars. The plate is equipped with a high-quality Velcro layer and a cushioning cellular rubber layer that absorbs vibrations and ensures the pad effortlessly follows the contours of the vehicle.

How do you use the BP-M D75 M14 Backing Plate?
Screw the 75mm backing plate onto the M14 output shaft of your rotary polisher. Use the spindle lock button on the machine to tighten the plate hand-tight. Choose a matching 75mm or 80mm polishing pad and center it carefully on the Velcro surface to prevent imbalance and unnecessary vibration. Since you are working with a small diameter on a powerful machine, it is advisable to start at a lower speed to keep heat buildup on small surfaces under control. After use, you can easily unscrew the plate by hand.
