What's so special about it?
The FLEX BP-M/R D125 is the original, damped Velcro backing pad with a diameter of 125 mm, specifically developed for FLEX's large eccentric machines: the XFE 7-15 (freewheel) and the XCE 10-8 (forced). This backing pad is crucial for the balance of the machine; it is precisely aligned to keep vibrations to a minimum, preventing hand fatigue during long polishing sessions. The pad features a special hole pattern for optimal dust extraction and cooling, ensuring that both your polishing pad and the paintwork are less likely to overheat. The high-quality Velcro backing is heat-resistant and guarantees that your pads stay securely in place, even under maximum load.

How do you use it?
To mount or replace the backing pad, use the Allen key supplied with your polishing machine. Lock the shaft (on the XFE) or hold the drive in place and loosen the central bolt. Place the new BP-M/R D125 onto the holder and ensure that the fit aligns perfectly with the machine's teeth. Tighten the bolt firmly. When in use, it is important to always mount the pad centered on the disc to prevent imbalance. After polishing, it is advisable to occasionally blow the backing pad clean with compressed air to prevent polishing dust from accumulating in the cooling channels and Velcro.
