What is so special about the BP-M D30 PXE Backing Plate?
The FLEX BP-M D30 PXE is the ultra-compact 30mm (1 inch) backing pad specifically developed for the FLEX PXE 80 Quick-Connect system. This little powerhouse is the beating heart for all your precision work. Due to its minimal diameter, you can work with extreme accuracy on the smallest surfaces, such as window pillars, headlights, or complex interior parts. The pad features a high-quality Velcro layer that keeps your polishing pads firmly in place, even at high speeds. Thanks to the soft cushioning layer, the pad distributes pressure evenly, which is crucial when working on tight corners and edges.

How do you use the BP-M D30 PXE Backing Plate?
Installation is completely tool-free: pull down the locking ring of the PXE 80 adapter (rotary or eccentric) and click the BP-M D30 into place. As soon as you release the ring, the pad is locked securely. Then, attach a 30mm or 35mm polishing pad or sanding disc to the Velcro. This backing pad can be used with all three PXE adapters: the rotary (DT-P) for correction, and the eccentric (DT-XF 3 or 12) for finishing. After the job, simply pull the locking ring down again to swap the backing pad for the larger 75mm variant, for example.
