What is so special about the BP-M D30 PXE Backing Plate?
The FLEX BP-M D30 PXE is the ultra-compact 30mm (1 inch) backing pad specifically developed for the Quick-Connect system of the FLEX PXE 80. This little powerhouse is the beating heart of all your precision work. Thanks to its minimal diameter, you can work with extreme accuracy on the smallest surfaces, such as window frames, headlights, or complex interior parts. The pad features a high-quality Velcro backing that keeps your polishing pads rock-solid in place, even at high speeds. Thanks to the soft cushioning layer, the pad distributes pressure evenly, which is crucial when working on tight corners and edges.

How do you use the BP-M D30 PXE Backing Plate?
Installation is completely tool-free: pull down the retaining ring of the PXE 80 adapter (rotary or eccentric) and click the BP-M D30 into place. As soon as you release the ring, the plate is firmly secured. Next, attach a 30mm or 35mm polishing pad or sanding sheet to the Velcro. This backing pad can be used with all three PXE adapters: the rotary one (DT-P) for correction, and the eccentric one (DT-XF 3 or 12) for finishing. After the job, simply pull the retaining ring back down to swap the backing pad for, for example, the larger 75mm variant.
