What is so special about the DT-XF-12 Adapter?
The FLEX DT-XF 12 is a specific eccentric adapter for the FLEX PXE 80 10.8-EC (also known as the 'Smart Polisher'). This adapter gives the machine a throw (orbit) of 12mm, which is significantly larger than the standard 3mm adapter. This turns your PXE into a powerful mini-DA polisher. The 12mm throw provides faster paint correction, better heat dissipation, and is perfect for removing scratches, swirls, and holograms on smaller surfaces. It is the ideal middle ground between purely rotary work and finer 3mm finishing.

How do you use the DT-XF-12 Adapter?
Thanks to the PXE 80's innovative quick-change system, you don't need any tools to install this adapter. Pull the collar (ring) of the tool's mount downwards and press the DT-XF 12 adapter firmly into the opening until it clicks into place. You can then mount your chosen backing plate onto the adapter, such as the 30mm or 75mm variant. Use this 12mm setting for correcting paint defects or for a quick finish on panels where a larger throw is desired for an even result. After use, pull the collar down again to remove the adapter or to swap it for the rotary or 3mm adapter.
