FLEX PZ-V 35 HEX
What is so special about the PZ-V 35 HEX?
The FLEX PZ-V 35 HEX is a set of five conical polishing sponges, specially developed to reach the most difficult areas. Like its cylindrical counterparts, this sponge features a HEX shank (hexagonal), allowing it to fit seamlessly into the FLEX FS 140 flexible shaft or other bit holders. The purple color at FLEX typically represents a medium-hard texture (violet), making this sponge perfect for light to medium-heavy paint correction. Thanks to the tapered tip, the PZ-V 35 is the ultimate tool for polishing the inside of door handles, narrow slats in a grille, or the space between letters on type emblems.

How do you use the PZ-V 35 HEX?
Click the hexagonal shank of the PZ-V 35 into the bit holder of your flexible shaft. The conical shape allows you to vary the angle of attack: use the sharp point for the deepest corners and the wider base for slightly larger surfaces. Apply a small amount of polishing compound and start at a low speed to work the compound in. Because the purple foam is slightly firmer than the orange variant, you can remove light scratches or oxidation more effectively. Make sure not to press the sponge too hard into a corner; let the tip of the cone do the work. After use, you can wash the sponges by hand or replace them if they lose their shape.
Tip: The purple PZ-V is slightly more aggressive than the orange variant. This is ideal for polishing weathered (high-gloss) black plastic door sills or wheel wells that you can't reach with a round pad. However, be careful with sharp edges of emblems; the firm foam can 'catch' if you go over a sharp edge too quickly!
