What is so special about the PK-V 35 HEX (VE5)?
The FLEX PK-V 35 HEX is a set of five purple, cone-shaped (PolierKegel) polishing sponges with a diameter of 35 mm. Within the FLEX color-coding system, the purple variant represents a medium-firm foam. This set is specifically intended for use with the FLEX FS 140 flexible shaft. The cone shape is an absolute godsend for areas where a cylinder is too bulky; thanks to the tapered shape, you can literally reach the tightest corners of a wheel rim, grille, or the inside of door handles. Thanks to the HEX shank (hexagonal), you can snap them in place in a flash without the sponge slipping in the holder.

How do you use the PK-V 35 HEX (VE5)?
Attach the hexagonal shaft of the PK-V 35 into the bit holder of your flexible shaft. Use this purple cone when you want to remove light to medium defects. Apply a drop of polishing compound (e.g., a medium-cut polish) and work at a controlled speed. The tip of the cone is ideal for "poking" into deep corners, while the flanks (the sides) can be used to polish along edges. Because the foam is medium-firm, it provides enough resistance to actually correct paint, while remaining flexible enough to follow contours. Clean the cone manually with lukewarm water after use.
