The traditional clay bar remains one of the most effective solutions for heavily contaminated automotive paint. Gyeon introduces two clay bars with different levels of decontamination—the Q²M Clay Coarse for heavily soiled surfaces and the Q²M Clay Mild for regular maintenance. Both Gyeon clay bars are extremely chemically resistant and can be used with Q²M Iron or Q²M Tar removers, as well as our highly concentrated Q²M ClayLube.
Q²M Clay Coarse is the fastest way to remove heavy contamination such as tar, organic sediment, industrial fallout, or overspray. Recommended for use on paintwork prior to paint correction, as it may leave slight marring. Designed for advanced enthusiasts and detailing professionals.

How do you use Q²M Clay Coarse EVO?
Knead a piece of clay into a flat disc and always use plenty of lubricant, such as Q²M ClayLube, on a clean surface. Move the clay over the paint using light pressure in straight paths until it feels smooth, and regularly knead the clay to reveal a clean surface. Rinse the paint after claying to remove any lubricant residue. Because this coarse clay can leave slight hazing (marring), a polishing step after use is necessary to restore the gloss.
