What's so special about the Alcantara and Textile Cleaner?
Colourlock Alcantara & Textile Cleaner is the best choice for sensitive textiles or Alcantara. People are often unsure whether a material is Nubuck or Alcantara; Nubuck is a natural material and is almost never used in modern automobiles. Alcantara is a synthetic alternative to this, and only this synthetic fabric can be cleaned with this product!
Other fibrous fabrics can also be easily cleaned with this product. The composition of Alcantara is very sensitive to improper cleaning agents, which can cause oxidation. This can lead to unpleasant odors or discoloration.
The Alcantara Cleaner is approved by major manufacturers for use on Alcantara.

How do you use Alcantara & Textile Cleaner?
First, dust the surface thoroughly or clean it with a vacuum cleaner. Apply the cleaner to a sponge or the Colourlock Leather Brush and gently create foam; never apply it directly to the fabric to prevent rings (stains). Work from seam to seam and rub the foam into the fibers using light pressure. Then, wipe away the loosened dirt with a clean, slightly damp microfibre cloth. Important: Do not rub too hard to avoid pilling. Let the fabric air dry. After drying, you can optionally "roughen" the fibers again with a clean brush to restore the original appearance. For optimal protection against new stains, an after-treatment with a textile waterproofing agent is recommended.
