What's so special about the GLD Stick?
The Colourlock GLD pen is used in combination with leather dyes. GLD processes excess filler or leather dye to smooth out the surface again.
Open the pen and press on the tip until it becomes slightly moist; if the tip becomes too wet, remove the excess material with a cloth. Dissolve the excess filler or leather dye. Sand if necessary after using the GLD pen.
Note: GLD can alter the leather grain!

How do you use the GLD Stick?
Ensure the surface to be treated is clean and dry. Briefly press the tip of the GLD Stick onto an inconspicuous area or a cloth to allow the fluid to flow to the tip. Then, using light pressure, go over the edges of a leather filler repair to level it out, or use the stick to soften hardened paint residues so they can be sanded away more easily. If the felt tip becomes dirty due to dissolved dye, you can simply wipe it clean with a cloth or reverse the tip. Close the cap tightly immediately after use to prevent the pen from drying out.
