What is so special about the Defender SiO² Protectant?
P&S Defender SiO2 Protectant is an advanced spray sealant based on high-quality silicon dioxide (SiO2) technology. While Bead Maker is known for its extreme smoothness, Defender takes a significant step further in terms of durability and chemical resistance. This product offers a hardcore protective layer that lasts for months.
Defender is extremely versatile: it is the ultimate maintenance spray ('top performer') to boost existing glass coatings or ceramic coatings (such as the P&S Inspiration Coatings), but also performs excellently as a powerful stand-alone paint sealant. The result is intense color depth, an impressive mirror finish, and superior, self-cleaning water repellency (water beading and sheeting). Defender is safe to use on car paint, metal, glass, and plastic trim.

How do you use the Defender SiO² Protectant?
Ensure the vehicle is thoroughly washed, degreased if necessary (for example with P&S Paint Prep), and completely dry. Preferably work on a cool surface in the shade. Shake the bottle well before use.
Spray Defender directly onto the paintwork or onto a clean, soft microfiber cloth. Work panel by panel (or in sections of up to 90x90 cm) and distribute the product evenly with a microfiber cloth or microfiber applicator. Allow the product to react and level on the paintwork for a brief moment (approximately 15 to 30 seconds). Immediately afterwards, take a second, clean, and dry microfiber cloth to buff out the residue completely streak-free to a bright, high gloss.
Tip for maximum results: Allow the lacquer to dry for at least 1 hour after application and avoid washing for the first 24 hours, so that the SiO2 particles can adhere optimally to the surface.
