What's so special about Wash Bucket?
The Grit Guard 19L bucket is a sturdy 90-mil thick bucket with a robustly built reinforced rim that will outlast any other bucket. This strong design does not flex, even when completely filled with water and lifted by the handle. Combine it with a Grit Guard Insert for a clean and safe wash without scratches.
This bucket is semi-transparent, which not only makes it look great but also allows you to check the contamination level so you can replace the rinse water if necessary.

How do you use a Wash Bucket?
Place the Grit Guard at the bottom of the bucket and press it down firmly so that it lies flat on the bottom. Fill the bucket with water and your favorite car shampoo. Preferably use the "Two Bucket Method": one bucket with shampoo (the wash bucket) and one bucket with only water (the rinse bucket). After you have washed a panel of the car, first rinse your wash mitt or sponge in the rinse bucket by rubbing it firmly against the Grit Guard grid.
This releases the dirt, which then sinks below the grid. Wring out the mitt and then pick up fresh soap from the wash bucket. After the wash, rinse the bucket thoroughly and remove the Grit Guard to wash away the accumulated sand from the bottom.
