What's so special about Wash Bucket?
The Grit Guard 19L bucket is a sturdy, 90-mil thick bucket with a robust, reinforced rim that will outlast any other bucket. This strong design won't bend, even when fully filled with water and lifted by the handle. Combine it with a Grit Guard Insert for a clean, safe, and scratch-free wash.
This bucket is semi-transparent, which doesn't make it look good at all, but it also allows you to check the level of contamination so you can replace the bucket with rinse water if necessary.

How do you use a Wash Bucket?
Place the Grit Guard at the bottom of the bucket and press it down firmly so that it lies flat on the bottom. Fill the bucket with water and your favorite car shampoo. Preferably use the "Two Bucket Method": one bucket with shampoo (the wash bucket) and one bucket with only water (the rinse bucket). After washing a panel of the car, first rinse your wash mitt or sponge in the rinse bucket by rubbing it firmly over the Grit Guard grid.
This causes the dirt to loosen and sink under the grate. Wring out the mitt and then draw fresh soapy water from the wash bucket. After washing, rinse the bucket thoroughly and remove the Grit Guard to rinse away the accumulated sand at the bottom.
