This backing plate is specifically designed for SHINEMASTER polishers for optimal results. It is perfectly compatible with your favorite SHINEMASTER foam and microfiber pads.
Each backing plate utilizes Smart Heat Management technology, featuring vertical and horizontal ventilation channels and a center recess to reduce heat buildup in the disc. This ensures smooth operation and extends the lifespan of every pad.
The perfectly balanced backing plate is made of high-quality materials and is built to withstand the power and massive throw of SHINEMASTER polishers.

How do you use the DA Polisher Backing Plate?
Unscrew the original backing plate from your polisher using the included wrench and replace it with the 70 mm version (ensure the correct thread size, usually 5/16"-24). Tighten the plate securely. Carefully center a 3-inch polishing pad on the hook-and-loop fastener to prevent imbalance and unnecessary vibrations. This size is ideal for polishing small areas such as window pillars, headlights, and bumpers. After use, check that there is no polishing dust in the hook-and-loop fastener; clean it with a soft brush if necessary to maintain optimal adhesion.
