What is so special about the Panel Preparation Spray?
Koch-Chemie Panel Preparation Spray (PPS) is an alcohol-based deep cleaner that is essential for the final step before applying paint sealants, such as waxes and ceramic coatings. The spray effortlessly removes residues of polishing pastes, oils, greases, and fingerprints. This results in a chemically clean surface, which is crucial for optimal adhesion and the maximum lifespan of the protective layer.
Unlike aggressive degreasers, PPS is formulated not to damage the paintwork, but to effectively dissolve and encapsulate all residues that impede adhesion.

How do you use the Panel Preparation Spray?
Ensure the paintwork is dry and free of loose dirt. Spray Koch-Chemie PPS directly onto the paint surface to be treated or onto a clean, dry microfiber cloth. Gently rub the surface with the cloth without applying too much pressure until all residue is gone and the paint feels grippy. Preferably work in sections (for example, one panel at a time) to prevent the product from evaporating prematurely.
Next, check the paintwork with an inspection lamp for any remaining polishing defects. As soon as the surface is completely cleaned and degreased, you can immediately begin applying the chosen coating or wax. Do not use the product on sensitive plastics or polycarbonate without first testing it on an inconspicuous area.
