What is so special about the Panel Preparation Spray?
Koch-Chemie Panel Preparation Spray (PPS) is an alcohol-based deep cleaner that is essential for the final step before applying paint sealants, such as waxes and ceramic coatings. The spray effortlessly removes residues of polishing pastes, oils, greases, and fingerprints. This creates a chemically pure surface, which is crucial for optimal adhesion and the maximum lifespan of the protective layer.
Unlike aggressive degreasers, PPS is formulated so that it does not damage the paintwork, while effectively dissolving and encapsulating all residues that hinder adhesion.

How do you use the Panel Preparation Spray?
Ensure the paintwork is dry and free of loose dirt. Spray Koch-Chemie PPS directly onto the paint surface to be treated or onto a clean, dry microfiber cloth. Gently wipe the surface with the cloth without applying too much pressure, until all residues have disappeared and the paint feels "grabby" (friction-high). Work preferably in sections (e.g., panel by panel) to prevent the product from evaporating prematurely.
Afterward, check the paint with an inspection light for any remaining polishing defects. Once the surface is completely cleaned and degreased, you can immediately begin applying your chosen coating or wax. Do not use the product on sensitive plastics or polycarbonate without first testing it on an inconspicuous area.
