What is so special about the Teerwäsche A?
Koch-Chemie Teerwäsche A (Tea) is a specialized, solvent-based cleaner designed for the effortless removal of tar, bitumen, and sticky residues. The product is distinguished by official Daimler approval, demonstrating that it is safe for use on modern paintwork provided it is applied correctly. Unlike more aggressive alternatives, Tea is free of halogenated hydrocarbons. It is the ideal solution for the lower panels of a vehicle, where tar splashes often accumulate, but it is also extremely suitable for cleaning workshop floors and machinery contaminated with bitumen.

How do you use the Teerwäsche A?
Apply Teerwäsche A undiluted to a dry surface. This can be done with a spray bottle, a soft microfiber cloth, or an applicator. Allow the product to act for a short time (usually 1 to 2 minutes) so that the tar or bitumen can dissolve. For stubborn dirt, you can work the product in manually with a cloth or sponge. Then rinse the treated surface thoroughly with a pressure washer or wipe away the residue with a clean, damp microfiber cloth.
Tip: Use this product only on solvent-resistant surfaces. Avoid contact with sensitive plastics (such as polycarbonate headlights) and never allow the product to dry on the paintwork. If in doubt, always test on an inconspicuous area first.
