This battery is part of the leading Cordless Alliance System (CAS) – a cross-brand battery system from Metabo and many other top brands.
Thanks to this unique alliance, this 5.2Ah battery is not only the perfect partner for Scangrip Connect work lights, but you can also seamlessly interchange it with all your other CAS-compatible power tools. The battery is built to withstand the toughest conditions on the job site; it features excellent impact resistance (IK07) and a smart electronic battery management system that protects the cells against overcharging and overheating. Furthermore, the 5.2Ah capacity ensures an impressively long run time for your lights, allowing you to effortlessly work through entire workdays.

How do you use the CAS Battery?
Ensure the battery is fully charged with a suitable CAS battery charger before putting it into use (a full charge cycle takes approximately 3.5 hours). Align the battery with the battery holder on the back of your Scangrip Connect work light (or slide it directly onto the light using the correct Scangrip Connector).
Slide the battery firmly into place until it audibly clicks into the locking mechanism. Switch on your work light to the desired setting. With the built-in capacity indicator on the battery, you can instantly see how much energy the Li-Power cells still contain at the touch of a button. Is the battery empty? Press the red release button on the battery, slide it smoothly out of the lamp, and place it directly on the charger to ensure the continuity of your work light.
