AVA HOSE CONNECTOR
What is so special about the Hose Connector?
The AVA Hose Connector is an essential and extremely robust component for your high-pressure cleaner's water supply. Although it is often overlooked in the world of detailing, a good connector is the difference between a worry-free wash and an irritating leak at the machine. This connector is specifically designed to ensure a robust and leak-free connection between your garden hose and the machine's water inlet (or water filter).
What distinguishes this connector from standard plastic click-couplings is its focus on durability and a precise fit. It is built to withstand the pulling and pushing forces that occur when you move the high-pressure cleaner while the garden hose is still under pressure. For users striving for a professional setup, this connector ensures a constant water flow without sucking in air, which is crucial for preserving the pump in your AVA machine.
MANUAL
How do you use the hose connector?
Attach the hose connector to the end of your garden hose. Tighten the screw cap firmly so that the hose is well clamped and cannot shoot loose under pressure. Then, click the connector onto the water inlet of your machine or onto the AVA Water Filter. You will hear a clear 'click' when the connection is locked.
Before starting the machine, check that the connection is completely watertight. If the connector becomes stiffer to click over time, you can lubricate the rubber rings (O-rings) with a little silicone grease. This keeps the seal supple and prevents air from entering the system, which avoids cavitation in the pump. After use, it is advisable to disconnect the hose connector and release the pressure from the garden hose to extend the life of the internal springs.
