What is so special about the BP-M D75 PXE Backing Plate?
The FLEX BP-M D75 PXE is an original 75mm (3-inch) replacement or extension backing plate, specifically developed for the popular FLEX PXE 80 10.8-EC mini polisher. This backing plate features high-quality hook-and-loop fastening (Velcro) and a cushioning foam layer that ensures even pressure distribution during polishing. The 75mm size is the "large" size for the PXE and is ideal for treating medium-sized surfaces such as headlights, window frames, and motorcycle parts. Thanks to the smart design of the PXE, this backing plate can be changed in seconds without the need for additional tools.

How do you use the BP-M D75 PXE Backing Plate?
To install the backing plate, press the spindle lock of the PXE 80 (or use the quick-release system by pulling the ring down, depending on the adapter you are using) and click the BP-M D75 firmly into place. Ensure that the polishing pad (e.g., a 75mm or 80mm pad) is placed exactly in the center of the Velcro to minimize vibrations.
This backing plate can be used in both rotary mode (for heavy correction) and eccentric mode (for finishing), provided the correct adapter is installed. After the job, clean the Velcro with a soft brush to remove polishing dust, ensuring optimal adhesion of your pads.
