FLEX DT-P
What is so special about the DT-P?
The FLEX DT-P is an essential rotary adapter specifically designed for the FLEX PXE 80 10.8-EC (and the new 12-EC). While the standard PXE is often used in eccentric mode for safe polishing, this adapter transforms the machine into a pure rotary mini-polisher. This is indispensable for "heavy-duty" work on small surfaces: think of removing deep scratches, sanding away dust particles (spot repair), or restoring heavily weathered headlights. The direct rotation introduces more heat and friction into the paintwork, resulting in a much higher correction speed than in eccentric mode.

How do you use the DT-P?
Installation is completely tool-free thanks to the Quick-Connect system. Pull the retaining ring on the head of the PXE 80 downwards, insert the DT-P adapter, and release the ring to lock it in place. Next, you can click the desired backing plate (for example, the 30mm or 75mm variant) onto the adapter. Because the rotary mode is more aggressive, we recommend starting at a lower speed and keeping the machine moving constantly to prevent the paint from overheating. After use, simply remove the adapter by pulling the ring back down, after which you can immediately switch to an eccentric adapter for the finishing step.
