What is so special about the DT-XF-12 Adapter?
The FLEX DT-XF 12 is a specific eccentric adapter for the FLEX PXE 80 10.8-EC (also known as the 'Smart Polisher'). This adapter gives the machine a throw (stroke) of 12mm, which is significantly larger than the standard 3mm adapter. This transforms your PXE into a powerful mini-DA polisher. The 12mm stroke ensures faster paint correction, better heat dissipation, and is perfect for removing scratches, swirls, and holograms on smaller surfaces. It is the ideal intermediate step between purely rotary work and the finer 3mm finish.

How do you use the DT-XF-12 Adapter?
Thanks to the innovative quick-change system of the PXE 80, you do not need any tools to install this adapter. Pull down the collar (ring) of the mount on the machine and press the DT-XF 12 adapter firmly into the opening until it clicks into place. You can then mount a backing plate of your choice onto the adapter, such as the 30mm or 75mm variant. Use this 12mm setting to correct paint defects or for a quick finish on panels where a larger stroke is desired for an even result. After use, pull the collar back down to remove the adapter or switch to the rotary or 3mm adapter.
