What is so special about the Dementor Towel?

Drying is one of the riskiest moments of a wash: that is precisely where most fine scratches occur. ADBL's Dementor is built to eliminate that risk and make the job faster.

The cloth features a dual structure with exceptionally thick, soft piles and a enhanced capillary effect. In practice, this means water is actively drawn away into the fibers instead of being wiped around, allowing you to work with minimal pressure. At 900 g/m², it is one of the heavier drying towels on the market, and at 60 x 90 cm you have a generous working surface that allows you to dry an entire panel in just a few strokes.

Two details make all the difference for your paint. The cloth is lint-free, meaning you leave no fiber residue behind on freshly cleaned work. And the edges are carefully hemmed instead of having a hard finish, which greatly reduces the risk of scratches along the sides. In addition to drying, the Dementor's softness also makes it perfectly suitable for delicate finishing work.

How do you use the Dementor Towel?

Wash the cloth before first use at a low temperature without fabric softener. This removes loose fibers and increases absorption capacity.
Rinse the car thoroughly after washing so that as much water runs off as possible and no soap residue remains.
Lay the cloth flat on the panel and gently pull it toward you, or dab the surface. Avoid hard rubbing or circular motions.
Work from top to bottom: roof, windows, hood, and tailgate first, then the flanks, and finally the lower, dirtiest parts.
Turn the cloth and use a fresh side as soon as it becomes saturated. Wring it out over the bucket if necessary.
Finish the last wet spots and crevices with a smaller cloth, for example around mirrors, the grille, and door jams.
Wash the cloth after use at a low temperature without fabric softener and dry it on low heat or air dry it so that the fibers remain soft and absorbent.
