Goofer
ADBL GOOFER
What is so special about the Goofer?
Cleaning windows without streaks requires a specific cloth structure. A regular fluffy microfiber often leaves residue or smears behind; a waffle cloth works differently. The raised squares of ADBL's Goofer absorb moisture into the recessed pockets, while the flat parts smooth out the glass. The result: clear glass without haze or streaks.
With a weight of 500 g/m², the cloth is sturdy and absorbent, and the 35 x 35 cm size has been deliberately kept compact. For glasswork, this is convenient: you fold the cloth into quarters and thus have eight clean working surfaces, which is exactly what you want when transitioning from a greasy interior window to a spotless finish.
The cloth combines brilliantly with ADBL Glass Cleaner for streak-free windows and mirrors. Additionally, its composition is also suitable for bonnet cleaning during interior detailing—methods where you work with a cloth instead of an extraction cleaner. A versatile cloth indeed, though glass is clearly its true home.
MANUAL
How do you use the Goofer?
- Wash the cloth at a low temperature without fabric softener before first use. Fabric softener clogs the fibers and will actually cause streaks.
- Work on a cool window and not in direct sunlight, so that the cleaning product does not dry out.
- Spray your glass cleaner onto the cloth or the window and work the product in using overlapping strokes.
- Fold the cloth into quarters so you have eight clean working surfaces, and switch to a clean side as soon as one section becomes saturated.
- Polish the window with a dry side of the cloth or a second dry cloth until no streaks are visible.
- Check the result from various angles and against backlight, and touch up where necessary.
- Wash the cloth at a low temperature without fabric softener after use and tumble dry on low heat or air dry.
