What is so special about the Little Rascal Black?
Some areas on a car cannot be cleaned with any cloth. The grilles of your speakers, the edges of your door sills, the frame of a lock: that is where dirt gets stuck and needs to be loosened mechanically. ADBL's Little Rascal Black is made precisely for that.
The brush features sturdy nylon bristles that are clearly more powerful than the soft bristles of a classic detailing brush. That is the whole point: here it concerns caked-on dirt that offers resistance. Mud in textured parts, caked-on deposits around hinges and locks, or a stubborn stain that you want to target in your upholstery.
Precisely for this reason, it is important to know where to use it and where not to. ADBL indicates that this brush is suitable for scratch-resistant surfaces. You therefore do not use it on your paintwork, on polished wheels, or on sensitive plastics, but rather on robust parts and textured material.
The compact size makes it maneuverable: you can reach into narrow corners and crevices where a larger brush cannot reach, and you maintain control over exactly where you apply pressure.

How do you use the Little Rascal Black?
- First determine if the surface is suitable: only use this brush on scratch-resistant, robust parts and not on paintwork, polished wheels, or sensitive plastics.
- When in doubt, test on an inconspicuous area first, especially on textiles and plastic structures.
- Wet the surface and apply your cleaning product, for example an APC in the correct dilution.
- Loosen the dirt with short, targeted movements. Let the firmness of the bristles do the work instead of pushing hard.
- Regularly rinse out the brush in between so that the loosened dirt is not smeared back across the surface.
- Absorbing the dirt with a microfiber cloth or rinse the area with clean water.
- Thoroughly rinse the brush after use and let it dry with the bristles facing down before storing it.
