What is so special about the Puffy Towel?
When buffing off wax or removing polishing residues, you want a towel that is soft and voluminous enough to work without applying pressure. The less friction you need, the smaller the chance of introducing fine scratches on freshly corrected paint. That is what ADBL's Puffy Towel was made for.
At 840 g/m², this is one of the heavier towels in the range, and that weight mainly comes from the long, full fibers (
The cloth is specifically intended for three tasks: buffing wax onto sensitive paintwork, working dressings into interior synthetics, and removing excess polishing paste. In all three cases, it comes down to the same thing: picking up a large amount of product with as little mechanical stress as possible.
At 41 x 41 cm, you have a handy size that you can easily fold into quarters, giving you eight clean work surfaces — exactly what you need for this type of work.

How do you use the Puffy Towel?
- Wash the towel at a low temperature without fabric softener before first use to remove loose fibers and increase absorption capacity.
- Let the applied wax, sealant, or dressing cure or haze first according to the instructions of the product used.
- Fold the towel into quarters so that you have eight clean working surfaces.
- Buff away the residues using light, straight movements. Let the thickness of the towel do the work and do not press hard.
- Flip the towel and switch to a fresh side as soon as a section becomes saturated, so that you do not smear the absorbed product back onto the surface.
- Work panel by panel and check the result for streaks or residues under good lighting.
- Wash the towel at a low temperature without fabric softener after use and dry it on low heat or air dry it so that the fibers remain full and soft.
