Round Detailing Brush 8
ADBL ROUND DETAILING BRUSH 8
What is so special about the Round Detailing Brush 8?
Some areas simply call for a small brush. The slats of your air vents, the edges around switches, the seam between the dashboard and the windshield, or the surround of an emblem: you cannot reach those areas in a controlled manner with a larger brush. The No. 8 from ADBL is the finest size at 17 mm and is made precisely for that work.
The construction is the same as the larger sizes: synthetic bristles in a plastic ferrule. The latter is extra important during precision work, because it is precisely in those tight spots that you inevitably get close to the surface. A classic metal ring would leave scratches there; with plastic, you do not have that risk.
Furthermore, the compact size gives you a lot of control over exactly where you apply pressure. You precisely guide the brush along an edge or between two slats, instead of hoping that you end up in the right spot.
You use it both inside and outside: air vents, center console, and stitching in the interior, but equally emblem edges, door hinges, locks, and the surround of your grille. For larger areas, it is better to reach for a larger size from the same range.
MANUAL
How do you use the Round Detailing Brush 8?
- Rinse the brush before first use to remove any loose hairs.
- Wet the bristles before you begin so they become pliable and absorb the cleaning product better.
- Apply a small amount of cleaning product to the brush. A small amount is enough in these tight spots, which prevents product from dripping into crevices or electronics.
- Work with short, controlled movements and follow the shape of the seam or grille.
- Rinse the brush out regularly in between so that the accumulated dirt is not dragged back across the surface.
- Keep separate brushes for the interior and for dirty exterior parts such as wheels and the engine bay, to avoid transferring dirt and product residue.
- Rinse the brush thoroughly after use and let it dry with the bristles pointing downwards before storing it.
