What is so special about the Tickler?
A good applicator is often underestimated. Yet it helps determine how evenly your product applies and how much you consume. If you work with an old cloth or a bare piece of foam, it will absorb your wax or leave streaks. The ADBL Tickler is designed precisely for this: a resilient foam core that molds to the shape of the panel, encased in soft microfiber that releases the product rather than holding onto it.
The clever part lies in the two sides. One side has shorter fibers, the other longer, which makes it versatile. With the short side, you smoothly apply a thin, even layer of wax or sealant to your paintwork. The longer fibers lend themselves better to softer and textured surfaces, such as interior dressings on plastic or a leather conditioner on the seats. This way, you essentially have two tools in hand with just a single applicator.
Practical is the finger pocket on the back: you slide your hand into it and hold the applicator effortlessly, even when you get product on your fingers. The round shape without sharp edges prevents you from accidentally leaving pressure points or streaks. After use, you simply wash it out, and it is ready for the next job. Just be sure to keep separate ones for paint and interior.

How do you use the Tickler?
- Choose in advance which side you will use: the short fibers for wax and sealant on the paint, the longer ones for dressings and leather conditioner.
- Slide your hand into the finger pocket on the back so you can work with a flat hand.
- Apply a small amount of product to the applicator and work it in briefly, rather than dispensing the product directly onto the surface.
- Distribute the product in overlapping, straight paths with light pressure; let the foam do the work instead of rubbing.
- Work panel by panel and replenish in between as soon as the applicator begins to feel drier.
- Let the product cure according to the instructions on the bottle and then wipe it off with a clean microfiber cloth.
- Rinse the applicator after use with lukewarm water and a little soap, squeeze it out gently, and let it air dry; keep separate ones for paint and interior.
