What is so special about the Promitt?
During manual washing, your wash mitt is crucial for the safety of your paint: it needs to absorb loosened dirt and hold onto it instead of dragging it across the surface. ADBL's Promitt is built to perform at a professional level.
The mitt is made of microfiber featuring soft, deep-set fibers. The latter is an important detail: fibers that are securely anchored in the base do not shed during intensive use, allowing the mitt to maintain its structure. They are also wear-resistant, which benefits its lifespan with frequent use.
The high absorption capacity ensures that the surface stays well lubricated with water during washing. That is precisely the core of safe washing: enough water and shampoo between the mitt and the paint so that dirt flows away instead of sliding across it.
On the practical side, the cuff is reinforced and the grip is designed so that the mitt stays comfortably and securely on your hand, even when fully saturated with water. Additionally, the mitt is easy to keep clean, which counts for daily professional use.

How do you use the Promitt?
- Rinse the mitt before first use to remove any loose fibers.
- Pre-wash the car thoroughly with plenty of water or foam first to loosen heavy dirt so you do not drag it across the paint with the mitt.
- Work with two buckets: one with shampoo solution and one with clean rinse water, each equipped with a grit guard.
- Dip the mitt into the shampoo bucket and make sure it is fully saturated before touching the paint.
- Wash using light, straight motions from top to bottom. Avoid circular motions and do not press hard.
- Rinse the mitt regularly in the clean water bucket, and save the dirtiest areas such as side skirts and the lower sections for last.
- Rinse the mitt thoroughly after use and let it dry. If necessary, machine wash it without fabric softener and do not tumble dry at high heat.
