What is so special about the LEA?
Leather requires a different cloth than paint or glass. You don't work with it across flat panels, but around curved seats, along stitching, and in the folds of the upholstery. For that, you need a cloth that you can maneuver well, while at the same time being soft enough for a sensitive material.
ADBL's LEA is tailored precisely to that. The 40 x 40 cm size has been kept deliberately functional: large enough for a complete seat cushion, yet easy to fold for precision work along seams and curves. At 340 gsm, the cloth is flexible and easy to handle, without the thick pile that would get in your way on leather.
What matters most in leather work is absorption capacity. The cloth absorbs both the loosened dirt and excess product residues, which is crucial: leftover cleaner or conditioner on leather becomes sticky and attracts new dirt. Furthermore, the LEA leaves no streaks or fiber residues, which would be immediately visible on smooth leather finishes. The cloth is machine washable, so you can use it again treatment after treatment.

How do you use the LEA?
- Wash the cloth before first use at a low temperature without fabric softener to remove loose fibers and increase absorption capacity.
- Vacuum the seats first and remove loose dirt from seams and folds.
- Apply your leather cleaner to the cloth rather than directly onto the leather, so you can dose in a controlled manner.
- Clean zone by zone with light movements and fold the cloth for precision work along stitching and curves.
- Immediately absorb excess product and loosened dirt with a clean side of the cloth so nothing sticky remains.
- Use a separate, clean cloth for buffing out leather conditioner so you do not mix cleaning residues.
- Wash the cloth after use at a low temperature without fabric softener and dry it on low heat or air dry.
