What is so special about the Textile Brush?
Fabric car upholstery is an ungrateful surface to clean. Dirt sinks between the fibers and stays there, so simply spraying a cleaner and wiping it off rarely brings the desired result. You need mechanical action: something that loosens the dirt from the weave so the chemistry can do its job and you can extract it afterward.
The ADBL Textile Brush is the designated tool for this. It is a compact hand brush that fits comfortably in your hand, which is important when working with force over a seat or floor mat. The bristles are synthetic, and that is a deliberate choice: natural bristles break or lose their resilience upon contact with strong interior cleaners or stain removers. These bristles hold up, even against more aggressive chemicals.
The stiffness of the brush sits in the middle of the spectrum. Firm enough to get heavily ground-in dirt, embedded sand, and stains out of the weave, but not so stiff that you damage or fuzz the textile. You can use it on seats, door panels, headliners (with care), trunk lining, and floor mats. Combined with an interior cleaner and a wet vacuum or extractor, you can bring upholstery back to a surprisingly fresh condition.

How do you use Textile Brush?
- First, thoroughly vacuum the upholstery to remove loose sand and grit before you start brushing.
- Test your cleaner and the brush on an inconspicuous piece of upholstery first, such as under a seat.
- Spray the interior cleaner onto the upholstery or directly onto the brush, depending on how concentrated you want to work.
- Brush the surface in short, intersecting movements so that the dirt is loosened from the weave from all directions.
- Work in small areas and do not let the cleaner dry out on the fabric.
- Immediately remove the loosened dirt with a clean microfiber cloth, or vacuum it away with a wet vacuum or extractor for the best result.
- Rinse the brush with clean water after use and let it dry with the bristles facing downwards so that no moisture remains in the handle.
