TWISTED TOWEL
The ADBL Twisted Towel is a drying towel with twisted pile: microfiber loops that are twisted together, allowing them to absorb a tremendous amount of water. It dries your paintwork virtually streak-free, glides smoothly over the surface, and has sturdy, finished edges.
ADBL TWISTED TOWEL
What makes the Twisted Towel so special?
Drying is when most scratches occur. Your car has just been washed, the paint is vulnerable, and if you rub it with a cloth that doesn’t absorb enough water, you’ll inevitably drag it across the surface. A good drying cloth must therefore be able to do one thing above all else: absorb so much moisture in a single pass that you barely need to apply any pressure.
That’s what the ADBL Twisted Towel is built on. The name refers to the twisted-pile construction: the microfibers aren’t woven into an upright pile, but twisted into loops. These twisted fibers form small cavities that absorb and hold water like a sponge, rather than pushing it away from you. You’ll notice the difference right away, because you’ll see virtually no streaks or water marks left on your paint.
Another feature that sets this cloth apart is its short pile. This allows the cloth to glide smoothly over the paint instead of dragging, making the drying process both faster and safer. The microfiber itself is high-quality and safe for all types of paint, and the edges are finished with sturdy stitching to ensure the cloth lasts a long time. Wash it at a maximum of 40 °C without fabric softener, as fabric softener clogs the fibers and reduces the very absorbency you bought it for.
MANUAL
How do you use Twisted Towel?
- After washing the car, rinse it thoroughly and let most of the water run off the panels first before you start drying it.
- Wash a new cloth before using it on your paint to remove any loose fibers left over from manufacturing.
- Lay the cloth flat over a panel and gently pull it toward you; let the weight of the cloth do the work instead of rubbing.
- Work from top to bottom, and save the lower, dirtiest parts of the car for last.
- Wring out the cloth or fold it over as soon as it becomes saturated, so that you're always working with a drier side.
- Never let the cloth fall on the floor, and if it does, don't use it anymore, because sand that gets trapped in it can cause scratches.
- Wash the cloth at a maximum temperature of 40 °C without fabric softener, separately from regular laundry, and let it air dry.
