What makes the Tire Brush so special?
Cleaning tires requires more effort than cleaning the rest of your car. Rubber is porous; it traps road grime and holds onto old tire residue, and you simply can’t remove that with a soft wash mitt. You need a brush that mechanically works the dirt out while giving your cleaner time to do its job.
The ADBL Tire Brush is designed specifically for that purpose. The bristles are synthetic and have been deliberately chosen to be quite stiff, so they can withstand the harsh cleaners used on tires while still providing sufficient abrasive action. The real difference lies in the triangular shape of the head: that pointed tip reaches places a regular rectangular brush can’t, such as the deep lettering and grooves in the sidewall or the transition to the rim.
The housing is made of sturdy plastic, and the handle has a rubberized, non-slip coating—something you’ll immediately appreciate when working with wet, soapy hands. The brush is also compact, so it works just as well on the tall sidewalls of an SUV as it does on the narrow sidewall of a low-profile tire. It’s a simple tool, but one that makes the difference between tires that just look clean and tires that actually are clean.

How do you use Tire Brush?
- First, wet the wheel so that the coarsest sand and grit are already washed away before you start brushing.
- Apply the tire cleaner to the tire and let it sit for a short time, as directed.
- Brush the sidewall in short, firm strokes, following the contour of the tire all the way around.
- Place the tip of the triangular head in the deeper grooves and around the letters, where most of the dirt accumulates.
- Clean the tread as well if you want to clean that part of the tire, and keep the surface moist while you do so.
- Rinse the belt thoroughly and repeat the treatment if any brown residue remains visible.
- After use, rinse the brush with clean water and let it dry with the bristles facing down; keep it separate from your nail polish brushes.
