What is so special about the Smooth Operator?
Dust is a peculiar problem in an interior. It is everywhere, but especially in the places where it stands out most—such as around the instrument cluster, between buttons, and on glossy trim pieces—you cannot simply wipe over it with a regular cloth. This is precisely where the Smooth Operator comes in handy.
The brush features soft nylon bristles that capture the dust without being abrasive on the surface. This makes it safe for materials that usually require extra caution: leather, sensitive plastics, and high-gloss piano black finishes, where any careless movement leaves visible micro-scratches.
A cleverly detailed feature is the curved bristles. They follow the shape of the surface and reach deep into corners, crevices, and around protruding parts where straight bristles would simply brush past. This allows you to tackle in one motion what you would otherwise need a cotton swab for.
The ergonomic grip ensures comfortable control, and the compact size was chosen intentionally: the brush fits right in your glove compartment. This way, you always have it on hand for a quick refresh on the go, rather than only during a full detailing session.

How do you use the Smooth Operator?
- Make sure the surface is dry and the brush is clean before you begin.
- Preferably work dry: with dust you do not need a cleaning product, and working dry is the safest option for sensitive surfaces.
- Move the brush with light, short strokes and sweep the dust toward you or outward each time, so it is not pushed deeper into a crevice.
- Use the curved bristles to work along edges, around buttons, and in ventilation grilles.
- Capture the loosened dust with a microfiber cloth or vacuum it away so it does not settle elsewhere.
- Tap the brush out in between when the bristles become visibly dusty.
- Rinse the brush with lukewarm water when it is truly dirty, let it dry with the bristles pointing down, and store it dry.
