What is so special about Spirits Fame?
ADBL's Spirits line consists of true car perfumes, structured like classic perfumes with top, middle, and base notes that come to life one after another. Fame is the most explicitly luxurious composition within that range.
The fragrance opens with sparkling grapefruit, mandarin, and orange, complemented by green apple and pineapple. In time, that fruity beginning gives way to a floral heart of jasmine and Damascus rose, deepened with patchouli and orris root.
The base is where this fragrance finds its character: vanilla, tonka bean, cedarwood, sandalwood, amber, and musk. This combination is warm, creamy, and woody, ensuring the scent lingers long after application.
ADBL positions Fame for those who love luxury and being in the spotlight, using a red-carpet atmosphere as its imagery. In practice, this means a refined, mature scent that clearly departs from the sweet fruity fragrances normally found in cars. How do you use Spirits Fame?
- Clean the interior first and let it dry. The perfume comes across purely on a fresh surface.
- Gently shake the bottle before use.
- Dispense sparingly. With a true perfume, very little is enough, and overdosing quickly makes the scent too intense in a confined space.
- Preferably apply it to textiles or a fragrance carrier, and not directly onto windows, displays, leather, or painted interior parts.
- Let the fragrance open up for a moment and briefly air out the car before getting in. The citrus fades first, after which the floral heart and warm base notes emerge.
- Only reapply when the fragrance truly starts to fade, as the base note with vanilla and wood lingers for a long time.
- Store the bottle in a cool, dry, and frost-free place, away from direct sunlight.
