What is so special about the Twisted Towel?

When it comes to drying cloths, the fiber construction makes all the difference. ADBL's Twisted Towel is built from twisted fibers ('twisted loop'), a technique in which the fibers are wound into strands. Those strands suck water inward like a wick instead of pushing it ahead of you, avoiding the typical wet streaking track behind your cloth.

A second advantage lies in the length of the fibers: they are kept short, allowing the cloth to glide more smoothly over the paint than a cloth with long, fluffy piles. This not only makes drying faster, it also limits friction on your paint, reducing the chance of fine scratches.

The cloth weighs 620 g/m² and measures 70 x 90 cm, giving you a generous working surface with which you can take along a full panel in a single motion. The edges are reinforced, which benefits durability while preventing a hard edge from scraping across your paint. A solid choice for anyone who wants to dry quickly and safely.

How do you use a Twisted Towel?

Wash the cloth before first use at a low temperature without fabric softener to remove loose fibers and increase absorption capacity.
Rinse the car thoroughly after washing so that as much water runs off as possible and no soap residues remain.
Lay the cloth flat on the panel and gently pull it toward you, or pat the surface. Avoid hard rubbing or circular motions.
Work from top to bottom: roof, windows, hood, and trunk lid first, followed by the sides, and finally the lower, dirtiest parts.
Turn the cloth and use a fresh side as soon as it becomes saturated. Wring it out if necessary.
Finish up the last wet spots around mirrors, the grille, door seams, and the fuel filler flap, where water tends to linger and run out later.
Wash the cloth after use at a low temperature without fabric softener and dry it on low heat or air dry so that the twisted fibers retain their structure.
