What is so special about the Scrub Mitt?
Cleaning an interior is largely manual work, and the shape of your tool is more important than you might think. A block gives you grip, but a glove allows you to follow the shape of the surface: over the curves of a seat, along the rounding of a door panel, or across the curved surface of the headliner.
The Scrub Mitt by ADBL is made of special coarse microfibers. That structure is intentionally rougher than a regular microfiber cloth, because with textiles and headliners the dirt is embedded in the fibers and needs to be removed mechanically. According to ADBL, this structure also enhances the performance of your cleaning agent: the product is worked in better instead of just sitting on the surface.
You can use the glove for a wide range of applications: headliners, fabric upholstery, leather, plastic panels, and rubber. With dimensions of 16 x 22 cm, you have a generous working surface that remains agile, and because you wear it rather than hold it, you apply pressure more naturally.
Practical point: the glove is machine washable, preferably with a microfiber detergent such as ADBL Micro Wash Storm, so the fibers retain their structure. Always test on an inconspicuous area first, as coarse microfiber requires a measured touch on leather and headliners.

How do you use the Scrub Mitt?
- Vacuum the interior thoroughly first and remove loose dirt from seams and folds.
- Put on the glove and test first on an inconspicuous area, especially on headliners, leather, and sensitive plastics.
- Apply your cleaning product to the glove or lightly to the surface. Use sparingly on headliners, which must not become soaked.
- Work with light, short movements and follow the shape of the surface. Let the coarse fibers do the work instead of pushing hard.
- Rinse the glove out in between or switch working sides as soon as it becomes saturated.
- Absorb the loosened dirt with a clean, dry microfiber cloth and repeat if necessary.
- Wash the glove in the machine after use with a microfiber detergent such as ADBL Micro Wash Storm, without fabric softener, and let it dry.
