Roller D21 V2
The ADBL Roller D21 V2 is a dual-action polishing machine with a generous 21 mm throw and 810 watts of power. Thanks to the eccentric movement, you can correct powerfully without the risk of holograms. With soft start, speed stabilization, and an 8-meter cable, you can work comfortably around the entire car.
ADBL ROLLER D21 V2
What is so special about the Roller D21 V2?
A dual-action machine combines a rotational movement with an eccentric movement. This makes it much more forgiving than a rotary machine: the pad does not keep spinning on a single spot, which keeps heat buildup limited and drastically reduces the risk of holograms and burn-through. For anyone working on their own paint, that is the most important argument.
ADBL's D21 V2 features a 21 mm throw, which is on the larger side for a DA. That large throw covers more surface area per revolution, allowing you to make quick progress on large panels such as the roof, hood, and doors. With 810 watts and a speed range of 1,650 to 4,500 rpm, you also have enough power to keep the pad up to speed even under pressure.
The electronics contribute noticeably to this. A soft start prevents the machine from jumping away when turned on, and speed stabilization maintains the set speed when you apply more pressure. This keeps your correction predictable instead of varying with your hand pressure.
Practical features: the 8-meter cable lets you walk around the car without an extension cord, and the interchangeable 125 and 150 mm backing plates tailor the machine to the job. Everything comes in an included carry bag.
MANUAL
How do you use the Roller D21 V2?
- Wash the car thoroughly, decontaminate where necessary, and make sure the paint is completely clean and cool. Never work in direct sunlight.
- Mount the desired backing plate and press your polishing pad centrally and evenly onto it.
- Apply your polish sparingly to the pad and spread it at a low speed across an area of approximately 40 x 40 cm first.
- Increase the speed and work the area using cross-hatch movements: first lengthways, then across.
- Keep the machine flat against the panel and apply even pressure. Let the 21 mm throw do the work instead of pushing hard.
- Always start with the pad against the panel and only lift it off when the machine has stopped, so you don't splatter polish around.
- Clean the pad periodically, check the results under good lighting, degrease the paint afterward, and apply protection. Periodically check the carbon brushes.
