What is so special about the Detailing Apron?
Anyone who spends a long time bent over a car polishing knows how often their clothing touches the panel. A zipper, a pair of pants button, or a buckle is enough to put a scratch in fresh paint, right where you just spent hours working. ADBL's Detailing Apron eliminates that risk.
The apron is made of a soft, surface-friendly material that acts as a buffer between you and the bodywork. This allows you to comfortably lean against a panel without wondering what is attached to your clothing. Especially during polishing work, where you work close to the paint and move a lot, that is a reassurance.
Practicality has also been considered. Two pockets keep the products and accessories you are using at that moment within arm's reach, so you don't have to go to your workbench every time. In addition, there are two loops with Velcro closures on the apron used to secure the power cord of your polishing machine so it doesn't drag across the paint—one of the most underestimated causes of scratches during polishing. The apron fastens with a simple, universal waist tie and thus fits just about any size.

How do you use the Detailing Apron?
- Put on the apron and tie it at the waist. Adjust the tension so that it is comfortable yet snug enough not to shift.
- Check that all hard parts of your own clothing (zipper, buckle, buttons) are completely covered by the apron.
- Before you start, also remove your watch, rings, and bracelets, as the apron does not protect against those.
- Secure the power cord of your polishing machine in the Velcro loops so that the cord runs along your body and does not drag across the paint.
- Place the products and accessories you need at that moment into the two pockets so you can work smoothly.
- Keep the apron itself clean during work: wipe away polish residues and sand, because dried-up dirt on the fabric can still cause scratches.
- Wash the apron at 40 °C when it is dirty and let it dry before the next use.
