What is so special about the Blackouter?
Unprotected exterior plastics on your car discolor over time: bumper trim, mirror caps, grilles, and other black decorative parts become dull and grayish. ADBL's Blackouter brings those parts back to life with a deep, even black look and a nice satin finish.
What makes this product special is its base. While many dressings rely on solvents, Blackouter is water-based with a milky consistency. This avoids the strong odor and drying effect of solvents, while ADBL states that its durability and visual result come close to solvent-based products. The protection lasts for up to several weeks and reaches its full strength approximately 24 hours after application.
The product is ready to use and is applied with a foam applicator or tire pad. It is important to work on a clean, dry surface and spread the product neatly for an even result without streaks.

How do you use Blackouter?
- Clean the plastic parts thoroughly and let them dry completely. Grease, dust, and old dressing residues prevent an even result.
- Shake the bottle well before use.
- Apply a small amount of product to a foam applicator or tire pad. Start with a little; you can always add more.
- Spread the product evenly over the plastic part in a thin, uniform layer.
- Immediately wipe away any excess product from surrounding painted parts and windows to prevent staining.
- Allow the dressing to dry and preferably avoid contact with water for the first 24 hours so that the protection can fully cure.
- Repeat the treatment when the black color fades after a few weeks. Store the product in a cool, dry, and frost-free place.
