COLOURLOCK LEATHER SHIELD
What is so special about the Leather Seal?
Colourlock Leather Shield is a unique lotion created to protect leather against friction and discolouration. Certain parts of the seat endure more stress due to getting in and out of the vehicle and general friction. This friction can cause dyes from other materials (such as jeans and leather) to transfer onto the sensitive leather; it can also lead to premature damage to the leather itself.
Colourlock Leather Shield prevents this damage by providing the surface with a very fine polymer protective layer. This creates an effective barrier on top of the leather, minimizing friction and discolouration!
It can be used perfectly on new leather to keep it looking new for a long time, but an older interior can also fully benefit from this type of protection. Do not forget to clean and, if necessary, condition the leather first.

How do you use Leather Shield?
Ensure the leather is thoroughly cleaned and completely dry first. Apply a small amount of Leather Shield to a lint-free cloth or a Colourlock Foam Applicator. Apply the product thinly and evenly from seam to seam, without rubbing hard. Allow the agent to air dry (do not buff off). For optimal protection on seat bolsters and steering wheels, it is advisable to repeat the treatment every 3 months.
Note: Leather Shield is always applied after cleaning, but before any conditioning products such as Leder Protector, although for new leather, Leather Shield is often the only protection required.
